The Sussex Surrey Scramble is a cracking event taking in the very best roads, scenery and climbs nestled between the North and South Downs. This stunning circuit can be described as lumpy rather than vastly hilly; allowing riders to enjoy a fast flowing ride. Saying that… the Epic route takes in the famous and challenging Duncton and Haste Hills.
With three ride lengths available (100 miles Epic, 75 miles Standard and 49 miles Short) you choose the challenge that suits you. I concur GP4000 is the hardest I've ever had to mount on a rim, Ultegra wheelset in my case. Shifted the outer skin on my thumbs!...
