Join us for a perfect summer tour of Essex. Select from 3 courses 50, 70 or an Epic 100 mile. The Only Way Sportive starts at the home of Colchester FC and takes riders into Essex along a scenic "rolling" course, ideal for those attempting their first 100 mile sportive. The route visits many historical Essex villages where the Roman and Saxon influences can be seen, before turning North and into Suffolk briefly where the most Northerly point of the route is. The route then turns to the South and on to Lavenham, described as the “finest medieval town in England”, the route re-enters Essex at Burges where the only true account of a Dragon was recorded in 1405. After which 15 flattish miles remains as the finish approaches, where a warm welcome is waiting. As you cross the finish line you will receive a Free Finishers T shirt, Medal and a PowerBar Protein Recovery Bar.
