The Cycling Weekly Malvern Mad Hatter is a late summer treat for your sportive calendar.
There are 3 routes to choose from, 103 miles, 72 miles and 43 miles.
The route takes you through the 3 counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and Gloucestershire with the Malvern Ridgeway never out of sight. You will tackle the Iconic Malvern Hill which is a long but gradual climb. Your effort will be rewarded with perfect views of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains of Wales. A simply sensational view!
After a great descent the route weaves its way between the Malvern and Cotswolds hills. Don’t worry the route from here is not all hills though – a large part of the route is undulating at best. This area is a fine example of vibrant, patchwork countryside with quiet roads and lanes providing excellent riding conditions.
With 3 routes to choose from (Epic 103 miles, Standard 72 miles and Short 43 miles) you can choose how galactic a challenge you have. The riders will receive a well-deserved medal! Post event refreshments and massages will also be waiting.
Highlights – The climb up to the top of the Malverns, the view to the Brecon Beacons and the Black mountains of Wales from the top!
Race you there!

12 corners in just over 2km is a terrifying prospect if it rains!
I think it's:...
As it's often said -'the way to justify the building of a bridge is not too count the number of people swimming the crocodile infested river!'
I used to go that way to work. It's nasty and congested. I doubt any changes will make the congestion worse.
