Based at the Evans Cycles Head Office, this is an established sportive with a very well refined route! Researched and developed by various members of the Evans outfit, we believe this is as good a day of road riding as you’ll get in the south-east. A deceptively hilly course, with riders taking on Kidd’s Hill, aka ‘The Wall’, the infamous Ardingly Reservoir climb and the popular Weir Wood Strava segment. However, fantastic riding through the beautiful Ashdown Forest and stunning views across the Weald and beyond make all the efforts worthwhile! As with all RIDE IT classic events, there will be a choice of route distances, friendly staff and likeminded riders throughout. This route also overlaps with sections of our flagship event King of the Downs, so if you enjoy it and fancy a slightly tougher challenge, check it out later in the year!
