THE KIDDERMINSTER KILLER is a notorious and challenging 215km endurance ride incorporating many of the best climbs and scenery that Worcestershire, Shropshire and The Marches can provide. If you are easily bored of flat routes, the Kidderminster Killer will keep you entertained from start to finish.
FROM CLEE TO HEAVEN packs in a punch and is harder per kilometre than the Kidderminster Killer, but it is shorter overall at 120km and preferable to those not seeking a long endurance ride. From Clee to Heaven is of similar length to our popular Sunrise Express audax but is hillier. Don't let that put you off. This route will provide a fantastic summer's day to remember.
The events are organised by Philip Whiteman of Beacon Roads Cycling Club on behalf of Audax UK.
Both events sold out in 2015, so don't leave it too late to enter.
As with every Beacon RCC audax, we shall be providing:
- online entry
- routes with stunning scenery
- country lanes for the majority of the route
- controls at cycle friendly cafes
- GPX files
- Comprehensively tested route sheets
- Refreshments at the start/finish
- Audax Altitude Award Points
- Brevet Cards for audaxers seeking validation
If you have never ridden an audax before then expect a relaxed atmosphere, a variety of riders and bikes and enjoyable day out. Audaxes are self guided rides and not waymarked. You will also be responsible for getting yourself home in the event of failure.

I love the brake lever design... I wish the Zwift bike had done something similar rather than making gamer-like controllers.

Hammersmith Bridge 'could stay closed until 2035'...
Weird. I went there a few weeks ago and all I saw was a cycle lane and plenty of free parking provision next to it, no keeerrraazy wiggly lines....
On that last point, the company has already gone under and he couldn't get the app to talk to the bike....
I suspect a different poster - our consistently unlucky (yet somehow surviving) wheelchair user never had anything good to say about cyclists!
That's a very good point, I remember once speaking to somebody who had volunteered in Gaza as a medic who said that the vast majority of the...
It isn't the first time BC has avoided sending riders to events, even when there have been riders with potential.
That's part. My bike was stolen from behind a locked door - in fact that just gave them a nice workspace as the lock was bypassable and the bike...
All part of the UK fetid toxic culture of social media and driver-centric anger against people trying to ride a bicycle.
