As the start of summer this is a great sportive to test your early season fitness, The Ludlow Brewing Co Sportive pretty much has it all. Weaving around rural roads in the county of Shropshire the route will give you winding roads, amazing views and tough climbs up with Long Mynd upthere with the most prestigious of ascents.
The Fun Ride route is 25 mile loop along tranquil country lanes offers something for everyone. The route takes in remote river valley scenery and includes a traffic free trail through the geologically significant Mortimer Forest and a Roman Fort at Leintwardine. Starting to head back towards the Event HQ in Ludlow you'll have a feeling of accomplishment and excitement as you reconvene with your friends and family at The Ludlow Brewery HQ.
For those taking on the Challenge Route you will again head north towards Church Stretton taking you into The Shropshire HIlls which is allocated as an AREA OF OUSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY. You will take on the infamous Burway climb over The Long Mynd and once at the summit you will have panoramic views over Shropshire and Wales. From here you will head south towards Plowden and back towards the event HQ.
Once you reach the Event HQ there will be refreshments and food available to buy and live music to keep you entertained.
