RIDE IT North Downs Road Sportive
RIDE IT is a series of non-competitive cycle events taking place across the country and aimed at riders of all abilities. At every ride you’ll find a choice of fully waymarked routes, well stocked feed stations sponsored by High 5 Sports Nutrition, mechanical and sweeper van support if things go wrong, electronic chip timing to record your ride and a finishers medal waiting for you at the end.
For the 7th year running, we've teamed up with the National Trust to provide an incredible venue for a weekend of cycling. Starting from inside the grounds of the amazing Polesden Lacey House, the scene is set for a great day in the saddle. The route will take riders across the North Downs with climbs up Leith Hill and the classic Whitedown included. Vistas typical of the county will be prevalent throughout, all of which make for a fantastic summer ride. We’ve kept the distances slightly lower than our usual summer mileages so you can enjoy the splendour of Polesden House. The venue has a great family atmosphere and a host of things to do for all ages, so if you fancy bringing the family or friends, rest assured they won't be bored whilst you're out on the ride.
Please note: entry to the event includes parking but does not include access to the house.
