Silly question (which i apologise for!). All the pictures show the crank arm on the driveside failing - is there a risk of the left crank arm...

It's really quite simple, if you don't trust a brand don't buy it.
Good to see wild bikes mentioned. As far as I can tell they're identical to the frog/Isla but half the price. Had one in every size and they're great.
I'd recommend getting it changed as soon as possible. It looks like the recall isn't for the UK yet, so maybe check with your local Shimano dealer...
Possibly because there is a mountain in the middle of it?
Wouldn't an "Elves" bike last for hundreds of years, be light weight, have darkvision (in case your lights go out) and not ever need to sleep?
Sounds like a shelter with some seats are what they really need, but then that would open up the display to all the artists who can't afford a car..
