campy front mech question
simple one:
can i take the band on mount off an 06 Record triple front mech and replace it with the braze on mount from an 06 record compact front mech?
from the exploded diagrams on the campy website the parts seem identical in the way the attach to the mech itself

Okay, this falls more into the realms of reassurance than technical expertise, but I can't see any reason why that shouldn't work. Apart from anything else I doubt that Campag would go to the expense of designing two different front mechs with such a slight difference.
Of course someone will come on here next and tell us that's exactly what they'd do…
