Strava routes to a Garmin

I'm away to Mallorca for the first time in June and i've created up a few rides for whilst i'm there. I'm struggling to work out how i download these rides onto my Garmin 1000 so i have the routes saved for whilst i'm away. Can anyone help please ????

Strava has created an app for the Garmin 1000 that should be the easiest way to do it...

A bit late now, but the route planner in Garmin Connect is good, and you can 'send' the routes very simply from the web app to your Garmin by just syncing it over bluetooth.   An advantage is that you can also send a route from your phone app, should you need to.

As an aside, make sure you check the routes carefully... Strava routeplanner has a habit of using unmade 'roads' such as bridle paths when you click a route up out of different waypoints.

Have fun in Mallorca- its a great place to cycle!

Note:  For a Garmin 810 but reckon file structures will be the same

In Strava - click on the export to GPX box, and save to your pc somewhere

Connect Garmin to PC via lead

Copy GPX file from PC to the 'New Routes' folder (I think it's called that)
