Possibly the most interesting piece on RSI I've read.

https://www.painscience.com/articles/repetitive-strain-injuries.php

Basically, too much time spent on inflammation which is no longer there and not enough time resting properly your degenerated tissue.

A few years ago I had persistent knee problem that went through the whole x-ray, physio, anti-inflammatories cycle and no real avail. I was determined that I could ride and do my physio and I would get better. I then had to stop riding for about 4-5 months due to another illness and once I started riding again my knee has been pretty much rock solid. After reading that it makes sense.

Maybe we should all stop riding through things when they hurt even if the biggest hurdle is the psychologically the one of not riding?

That is well written and interesting and I don't even suffer from RSI. Thanks for sharing it.
