Bike Storage

I *only* have 3 bikes but they do sometimes clutter up my garage so I was thinking of installing some hooks to hand them up by one wheel as I think this is how I saw them stored at a track recently. However I cant help but think this might damage the wheels - am I worrying unecessarily?

my record for bikes in the shed (12'x8') is 13 bikes. anyone beat that?

Yep, Barry is spot-on. hanging them up is a really good way to get a lot of bikes in to a fairly tight space. use some vinyl coated hooks and it won't do the wheels any harm at all.

that's how i got 'em in the shed, never had any problems at all. it's worth buying some decent vinyl coated ones to stop them scratching your rims but they're peanuts really and free up loads of space.
