That's my BTwin Triban 520 FB
Bike1.jpg
Here's my BTWIN Triban 520 FB. I've done over 2500 miles on this black and red super commuter. Only changed the chain and tyres as they wore out. The saddle and seatpost were spares I had hanging about. I've added a Topeak rack and Crudcatcher 2 mudguards, and Shimano m520 pedals. The brake pads are Swisstop Blue, and they make a huge and necessary difference to the stock setup, which leaves a lot to be desired.

My Supersix Evo Hi mod. In full race trim, just before heading to Gran Fondo World Champs last year. 6.55 kg including pedals. Really really love this bike.

I have built this Battaglin Moristacan to Eroica specification, full 20 speed with downtube shifters. I am importing the Battaglin Steel frames if anybody would like one contact me on 07577 745054. I have some samples which can be viewed. They are real eye candy and ride very well.

My trusty RT58. Apart from the frameset, shifters, brakes and front mech I think I've gradually changed everything on it!
I'm going to have a hard time choosing something to replace it when I do decide to get a new bike, but that'll be a while yet...

This is the replacement for my Giant, a Fairlight Strael in size 56R. It has my Hunt 4 Seasons wheel on it with 28 mm Conti Grand Prix GT tyres, my current 105 crankset and mechs and braking and shifting is via a set of Shimano 685/805 hydraulic shifters and calipers with 140 mm Disco Brakes rotors. Saddle is a Brooks B17, stem is a 120 mm Cinelli Vai (cost peanuts and fairly light and subtle) and pedals are Shimano XT SPDs.
I'm absolutely loving it so far, it's stiff and fast with that lovely smooth but zingy feel that steel as.

This is my commuter/winter ride after a wash and brush up. A Raleigh 531 frame/forks from the mid 80's. Early 105 with down tube levers and Biopace chainset, Cinelli bar & stem, Mavic MA40s, Rolls saddle. Every year I think about having it resprayed and put on a newer group set, however, I never get round to it, and anyway I quite like the "patina" of age. Thanks for looking.

There's something about a vertical top tube that just screams "fast"....
Sorry, coudn't resist.
Ooh ooh ooh me, I know... Cosine saddle. And you've changed gear haven't you?
Looks fabulous. Read your link and the build. Good work, and well thought through.
I've never seen one of those before. That is a very very cool looking bike.
Yeah, it is a Cosine.
Early crimbo pressent to myself.... saw one and knew I had to have it in that colour.
Full Dura Ace is a nice upgrade from Campag Athena on my other bike, it's a nice comfortable bike that I'm sure will be brilliant for some longer, hilly sportives this year. I was worried XL would be too big but it fits perfect. New wheels next purchase but very happy with it.

Winter bike, also the only bike I currently own that works. Giant Trance 3 2017, picture taken on the C2C route near Consett last weekend.

My freshly-built retro bike. TVT Carbone frame from 1991, Campag C-Record bits. Stripped and resprayed into the Lemond Team Z colours of that era.
It only plays out when the roads are dry

It's a ????? Total rebuild on smaller frame completed today. French chainset required tapping out the cranks to British thread. But now works beautifully with Ultegra rear changer.
