Revamped Cervelo.com goes live with more engineering & lots more video

New and improved Cervelo.com adds useful new content and is easy to use too

Cervelo's revamped of their website has gone live, the address is still the same, www.cervelo.com, but plenty has changed. The new site pulls together all the things that Cervelo does… obviously the bikes, but also the Cervelo Test Team who are much in evidence all over the site and not just as,er pretty pictures either. The level of team news looks to have been ramped up from the old site.

It also brings to the fore what Cervelo are best known their design and engineering. So, there's a new  Engineering section which features the tech presentations Cervelo give their dealers and a video on Cervelo's latest R&D intiative, Project California to build a new ultra-light carbon bike which will be updated as the project progresses.

Video plays a big part in the new site as well as the Project California vid there are also a series of bike videos which feature “pro cyclists talking candidly about what they think of our bikes” says Cervelo… we're guessing they love 'em, but you never know. Cervelo's new Bike Selector may prove more useful should you be in the market for one of their bikes. They've collated data on the riding habits of 3000 Cervelo owners and using the the Selector tool will try to match your riding habits to theirs to point you at the ideal Cervelo model for you. Sealing the deal there is also a new retail locator so you can find your nearest Cervelo stockist, it works a treat too.

Last year Cervelo filmed a behind the scenes documentary following the team's first season – Beyond the Peloton, the series of films shot in high definition proved to revealing and interesting and popular – they are back again this year. A teaser for the first instalment went live on Cervelo's Youtube channel on Friday – you can also see it below – or indeed on the new Beyond the Peloton section on the site where you can also watch the complete series of last season's films.
