The third week of early Black Friday deals from CRC is here ft. Vitus, Lezyne, Shimano, Tacx, & Castelli

We're now into our third week of Chain Reaction Cycles' Black Friday cycling sale extravaganza, and the deals are still coming thick and fast.

These particular bargains were only announced today so they're still fresh, and boy do they smell good.

Starting from the top, there's a Vitus Zenium VR Disc Road Bike for a third off, a Castelli Free Jacket with a £75 discount, a pair of Shimano Dura Ace 9000 wheels, a Tacx Blue Twist Turbo Trainer, and a set of Lezyne Micro Drive 400 XL bike lights.

Happy shopping!

33% off Vitus Bikes Zenium VR Disc Road Bike 2015
WAS £1049.99 | NOW £699.99

Here's one we reviewed earlier. Don't let the time of year and the presence of disc brakes deceive you, the Vitus Zenium VR Disc isn't a cyclocross bike or a poor weather commuter. No, no; it's a racer.

And a pretty decent one at that.

Our man Stu Kerton reviewed this TRP Spyre break toting, aluminium alloy bodied fella in February, he had this to say about it:

"The new TRP Spyre equipped Zenium VR Disc model has a responsive ride backed up with excellent braking performance and modulation making it ideal for those spirited club runs or fast commutes."

43% off Castelli Free Jacket
WAS £175.00 | NOW £99.00

Castelli Free Jacket.png

When you think Castelli and cycling jackets, your mind is probably shooting straight over to their legendary Gabba. You'd be forgiven, but very mistaken, for believing that they draw the line there on their jacket range.

Believe it or not, the Italian clothing manufacturers make quite a few, and the Free Jacket plops itself right in the middle of their range. At least, it does at full price.

At under £100 the Free will keep the wind and the cold away for a ridiculously good price.

The jacket is designed for this time of year, particularly for the temperature range of 0-10ºC. The fabric is Gore Windstopper X-Fast 2, which does what it says on the tin, but it also has a fleece lining for extra comfort and temperature maintenance.

35% off Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 C24 Clincher Wheelset
WAS £749.99 | NOW £519.99

Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 Clincher Wheels.png

At over a third off these Dura-Ace 9000 C4 carbon wheels from Shimano are something of a bargain.

Weighing in at 1387g for the pair, their light - as you'd expect from a high-end pair of carbon Shimano wheels - but they also perform incredibly well aerodynamically.

44% off Tacx Blue Twist Turbo Trainer
WAS £109.99 | NOW £61.99

Turbo trainers are in this winter. Literally, you won't be using them outside, it'll be far too cold for that.

These are designed for those of you who don't fancy heading out for a training session in the pouring rain or the biting cold.

If you're unsure about splashing out on a Turbo, there are plenty of reasons to invest. First, check out our buyer's guide - which you can find below - to get an idea of the kind of turbo you might like.

Tacx offer a number of turbos ranging from super expensive to affordable. £60 wouldn't usually go particularly far in the turbo trainer world, so this deal might be worth jumping at if you'd like to explore.

27% off Lezyne Micro Drive 400XL Light Set
WAS £74.99 | NOW £54.99

Finally, lights.

The nights are going to continue drawing in, so you'll need some lights to be able to see and be seen.

If you're already covered in the light department, consider what would happen if you left your lights at home one morning, and come commute you were stranded.

It's always worth having an extra pair in the office, especially when you're getting almost a third off of RRP.

Also, if you want to be seen, you could do a lot worse than the Lezyne Micro Drive rear light, as our reviewer points out in the review below:
