In a week's time, Sunday 20th March to be precise Cycle Surgery are hosting the latest team road.cc rideout from their brand spanking new store in Royal Tunbridge Wells. They'll be laying on the pre and post ride nibbles too.
Between us we're offering a couple of routes around the Kent lanes with the Cycle surgery staff and our very own Stu Kerton leading the way. The shop will also be offering technical support on the day.
As always we'll be offering a shorter ride of about thirty miles and a longer one nudging forty for those who want to stretch the legs a little more. Both of them will be run at the speed of slowest rider, it is a club run after all.
Apart from plenty of coffee and cake road.cc will also be bringing our now legendary box of free Schwag for the riders raffle once we all arrive back at the ride HQ.

Since writing his first bike review for road.cc back in early 2009 senior product reviewer Stu has tested more than a thousand pieces of kit, and hundreds of bikes.
With an HND in mechanical engineering and previous roles as a CNC programmer/machinist, draughtsman and development engineer (working in new product design) Stu understands what it takes to bring a product to market. A mix of that knowledge combined with his love of road and gravel cycling puts him in the ideal position to put the latest kit through its paces.
He first made the switch to road cycling in 1999, primarily for fitness, but it didn’t take long for his competitive side to take over which led to around ten years as a time triallist and some pretty decent results. These days though riding is more about escapism, keeping the weight off and just enjoying the fact that he gets to ride the latest technology as part of his day job.

While I can't afford these particular Assos bib tights, I'm delighted to see winter tights with impact protection. I hope this protection trickles...
These aren't even decals, they're stickers. Pretty obvious it's one of their mates printing these out, hence the glowing review....
The tracks are basically a modified wall of death. Part of the excitement watching is the risks involved. It's the riders choice.
Jimmy Anderson should also be getting a lifetime achievement award too imo

No. Calling it terrorism isn't hyperbole. Those obstacles are meant to cause harm and spread fear (terror). It literally is terrorism.
Turns out that "passing *motor* trade" is either an illusion, or extremely fickle (won't bother if it involves finding a parking spot AND walking)....
What an excellent article, thank you road.cc. I am insured with the RAC and checked with them online to confirm I had a bike-rack towbar fitted...
