We announce the Canyon comp winners for our Tour of Britain rideout

Three lucky readers get to ride brand new Canyon's to watch the Tour of Britain...

On Thursday September 8th the Tour of Britain's stage 5 will come to its climactic end in the city of Bath which just so happens to be the home of HQ. That got us thinking, how do we celebrate such an event?

Well we invited Canyon Bikes along and they've chosen three of you to get the chance to ride some of their brand new fleet and watch the race.

 The lucky few are -

  • Karen Whyte who gets to ride the lovely Ultimate
  • Nik Browne who'll pilot the very quick Aeroad
  • Sam-Jared Coventry that gets to try out the spanking new Endurace CF SLX Disc....

Congratulations guys and girls, we hope you enjoy yourselves whatever route you choose.

For the rest of us that have to ride our own bikes we've got a couple of routes planned, a 43km short circuit to catch the race at Kelston...........

or the epic route crossing the border into Wales to watch the race in two places, firstly Tintern and then again as it passes through Pucklechurch on your way back to HQ.

Both rides will be preceded by coffee and nibbles at the office before departure with pizza and beer available on our return, not a bad club run, eh?

If you fancy it you'd best get your name down here then as we have a couple of places left.

With 20 years of road cycling and over 150,000 miles in his legs it's safe to say Stu is happiest when on the bike whatever the weather. Since writing his first review for back in 2009 he has also had a career in engineering including 3D-CAD design and product development, so has a real passion for all of the latest technology coming through in the industry but is also a sucker for a classic steel frame, skinny tyres, rim brakes and a damn good paintjob.
His fascination with gravel bikes is getting out of control too!
