North London Dirt – a day of on and off-road riding through North London

Profits will go to St Mary's Centre N16...

Fine coffee to start, local beer to finish and a day of on and off-road riding through North London in between. North London Dirt will take place on Saturday July 21 with all profits going to St Mary’s Centre N16 (which houses a homeless shelter and food bank).

The 68-mile loop through North East London takes in as many gravel paths, dirt tracks and quiet roads as the organisers (The Ride Journal) have been able to fit in.

“It is not a hand-holding sportive,” they say. “You won’t have signs telling you which way to go, a table full of banana halves and an oversized T-shirt to collect at the end.”

What you will get is Rapha providing coffee at the start and two local breweries (Pressure Drop and Beavertown) supplying beers for the end.

There’ll also be a draw taking place for participating riders with prizes from Brother cycles, Brooks England, Condor Cycles, Panier.cc and Rapha.

Entry is £22. More details here.
