I can walk through the centre of my living room safely normally. But if i walk across the room with my bike helmet on i always bash into the lightshade hanging from my ceiling. It doesn't hurt me because i'm wearing a helmet, but i wouldn't have bashed the lightshade in the first place if i wasn't wearing a helmet.

Should i make it compulsory to wear a helmet in my living room?

Hi-viz, headlights and even a noisy exhaust didn't prevent me getting knocked off my motorbike last month.

But I'm glad I was wearing a helmet, as, even at low speed, it is obvious where the back of it hit the ground and made the difference between walking away and being carried away.

I know, a similar thing happened to me. Came off and the helmet was ruined. I was fine though. 

I don't know why people would even think that helmets aren't a necessity.

Looking forward to the Rapha/EF films, Mitchelton Scott have done a great job with the backstage pass videos so hopefully this will be something equally good, could be really useful for getting more sponsors interested
