The Bradley Wiggins Show is back for the Spring Classics

Podcast expands beyond the Grand Tours

The Bradley Wiggins Show is back for a six-episode run to cover the Spring Classics. The first episode will be on Monday (March 18).

First launched for last year’s Tour de France, the podcast later returned for the Vuelta a Espana. Eurosport says there will be 20 episodes this year, with later coverage focusing on the three Grand Tours and the World Championships.

“I am looking forward to getting back behind the microphone and offering something for everyone, from the hardcore cycling fans to newcomers to the sport," said Wiggins.

Graham Willgoss, former cycling editor of Sport mag, and a regular cycling contributor on talkSPORT2, is the show’s new host.

The podcast will appear via all major podcast providers, including iTunes, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and also on eurosport.co.uk.

It’s also been reported this week that Wiggins and car brand Skoda have ended their partnership together a year earlier than scheduled.

Skoda told Cycling Weekly: “In 2018, Skoda UK began to place greater focus on attracting female buyers to the brand, resulting in Paloma Faith signing a partnership with Skoda.  Given this focus remains in 2019 both Skoda and Bradley Wiggins mutually agreed that the partnership would end at the end of 2018.”

A spokesperson for Wiggins said: “The agreement between Bradley and Skoda was ended after two very successful years, in which time period TV adverts featuring Bradley won many accolades and marketing awards, including best Car Ad of the Year in 2017.”

Team Wiggins-Le Col will be using Subaru cars for the 2019 season.

Yay! I like Wiggo's podcasts.. and Lance's the Move podcasts are back up this week as well I think 1

Any other recommendations for must listen to podcasts, beyond the 'other cycling publications' named ones?

Mitch Docker does one called Life in the Peleton where he interviews team mates, that's worth a listen.

There's a bunch of others that are so so, such as The Grupetto, Cycling Tips, VeloNews, The Cycling Podcast, Zwift Power Up etc. depending on what you're into. 

Also have a sift through When Orla Met, she's interviewed a number of people from the word of cycling such as Ellingworth, Steve Peters, Thomas, Vaughters, Cavendish etc.

Top marks... I think this is one of the few helpful replies I've ever seen on the forum, normally it is more like... "why do you listen to dopers" blah blah blah blah... thank you 1
