Schwalbe tyre schwag: we have a winner!

£80 of rubber goods find a new home...

We've a set of tyres up for grabs, and over 400 of you said you'd like 'em. That's a popular set of tyres, is that. Anyway we've wiped the crumbs of tiffin from our mouths and fired up the random number generator at www.random.org, and the fickle finger of fate has done its pointy thing. And it's pointed at...

simon smith!

Well done Simon, if that's your real name. Bit of an odd username to pick if it isn't but hey. we'll get the tyres in the post to Simon, and the rest of you can lick your wounds and look forward to the next schwag grab, which will be coming up... erm, now!

----------------------------------

Another day, another giveaway here at road.cc! This time we've got a pair of Schwalbe's excellent Marathon Supreme tyres up for grabs. We tested these beauties just before Christmas and test pilot Shaun Audane was very impressed, saying that the Marathon Supreme was "the quickest big volume semi-slick I’ve used to date, rolling a lot faster than its two-inch profile or 600g weight would suggest". And that's a man that's used a lot of big volume semi-slicks in his time. We had the 26x2.0 rubber on test but should you win you can have your pick of size, they're also available in a range of widths for 700c.

To be in with a chance of getting your hands on the tyres all you have to do is comment below. We'll pick a winner at tiffin time on Friday 4 February, and usual schwag grab rules apply. Good luck everyone!

These should be very durable. I've just binned a pair of Schwalbe Hurricane semi-slicks and got just over 5500 miles out of them. There was enough tread left to have done another couple of thousand, but broken glass caused irrepairable damage ...
