We confused a few of you on our Facebook page last week after showing our tester heading out for a ride with the new Morfo bib shorts from Ekoi, looking as if they're on inside out: however these shorts just happen to have no lining over the chamois pad, meaning it has direct contact with your saddle. They're also one size, with Ekoi claiming they will fit you "no matter if you're 1.6m tall or 2m tall, 50kg or 100kg". Sound too good to be true? We got an exclusive first ride of these tyres at their official launch in Milan last month, and now our tester has put in an additional 500 miles into them before giving a final verdict. Pirelli have put a lot of resources into their return to the cycling industry, developing a whole new compound for the P Zero range. Will they roll as good as Pirelli say they will on the road, though? Check back for a review soon...

This premium Pearl Izumi race jersey has had a makeover for SS17, with Coldblack cooling technology inside for optimal cooling and reflective sun protection. It's got three back pockets, reflective elements for low light visibility and even some 'Screaming Yellow' colour added for extra visibility in the daylight too. The alloy version of PRO's Vibe stem has a -10 degree angling to promote a super-aggressive slammed position at the front end, built for fast riding and tucking in to shave seconds during sprints and breakaways. It weighs just 125g, and has a triangular design for an optimal stiffness to weight ratio. It also has specially positioned cable ports so you can internally route all your Shimano Di2 cables, making for the cleanest, most aero front end possible. Arriving at road.cc in 2017 via 220 Triathlon Magazine, Jack dipped his toe in most jobs on the site and over at eBikeTips before being named the new editor of road.cc in 2020, much to his surprise. His cycling life began during his students days, when he cobbled together a few hundred quid off the back of a hard winter selling hats (long story) and bought his first road bike - a Trek 1.1 that was quickly relegated to winter steed, before it was sadly pinched a few years later. Creatively replacing it with a Trek 1.2, Jack mostly rides this bike around local cycle paths nowadays, but when he wants to get the racer out and be competitive his preferred events are time trials, sportives, triathlons and pogo sticking - the latter being another long story.
