Spurcycle, makers of one of the loveliest bicycle bells it’s possible to buy, has just launched a titanium multitool that looks beautifully made and almost too nice to use for its intended purpose of tightening bolts.
The titanium multitool is made in the US from grade 5 titanium by Paragon Machine Works in California. It has a compact body with a sliding handle that offers both T- and L-form leverage, ensuring you can easily get to even the most fiddly of bolts.

The tool comes in a slim fabric case, also made in California, and is included with a range of chrome-coated steel tool bits, including 2mm hex, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, T10 Torx, T25, and Phillips #2.
It’s small and light enough to be easily stored in a jersey pocket during a ride. There’s also space in the pouch for a few puncture repair patches or even some money.
“Spurcycle’s Tool is the most recent collaboration of brothers Nick and Clint Slone, following the Spurcycle Bell, Key Clip, and Multi Pouch,”s says the press release. “Their focus—in addition to meticulous design—is to create products that don’t require a slick sales pitch but which encourage blatant favoritism.”
In the US it’ll cost $69, we’re just waiting for confirmation of whether it’ll be available in the UK because we bet there are a few cyclists who’d love to get their hands on it.

You can also buy a wonderful bell from Lion made in the UK. The tone of these is just beautiful, and for a relatively small extra cost they will engrave them with a message or your name. Top tip for a Christmas gift!
I bought one of their bells for my mountain bike and walkers on trails have actually commented "What a nice bell" and even "What a lovely bell".
It also seems to alert sheep much better than other bells, and at a good distance.
Following a recent ride with them I have had to buy two more for my sons-in-law for Christmas!
My god it's so heavy, try the Zanzi tool, 22grams, includes 5 allen keys(2/3/4/5/6mm), 14 & 15g spoke key, 2 hex nut (10 & 8mm), philips head screwdriver & a bottle opener.
Also the gerber 'cool tool' is so much more
Makes this effort a bit pointless and rather cumbersome by comparison.
I couldn't find anywhere selling the Zanzi tool, but whilst searching EBay, I stumbled across the WOHO WOKit carabiner ratchet tool and MUST RESIST PURCHASE...

I carry a ratchet rocket and it's brilliant.
Me too! I pair it up with one of the Topeak 5Nm torque bits to make the smallest, carbon-fibre friendly toolkit.

Looks like a JCool tool only you can't use it as an allen key on the long lenght so in my mind not as good, and for quite a lot more money.

This is Sooo nice. I want their bell also, still feel too stupid to pay the price, but once in my head I will eventually find the excuse and buy it.....
Does it have a ratchet mechanism?
Doesn't look like it. Luckily, that could be the difference between me buying it and just wanting it.
