There's still life in aluminium, and there has never been a better time to buy an aluminium road bike, as these six bikes we've reviewed here at road.cc prove. Carbon might be flashier and titanium more desirable, but aluminium provides a stiff and comfortable ride and is often the best value proposition, ideal if you're on a budget and want the best bang for your buck.
