Video: Point-of-view footage of cyclist jumping over Tour de France peloton

Alexis Bosson did the spectacular stunt with both hands off the bars

Remember our story yesterday of a mountain biker (and not a BMX rider, as we first thought) jumping over the Tour de France peloton during Stage 10 of the race?

Well, the cyclist in question - Alexis Bosson - has now uploaded point of view footage of his stunt to YouTube, as shown in the video above.

What's more, he did it no-handed. Chapeau.

Here's the video we originally posted yesterday.

Simon joined road.cc as news editor in 2009 and is now the site’s community editor, acting as a link between the team producing the content and our readers. A law and languages graduate, published translator and former retail analyst, he has reported on issues as diverse as cycling-related court cases, anti-doping investigations, the latest developments in the bike industry and the sport’s biggest races. Now back in London full-time after 15 years living in Oxford and Cambridge, he loves cycling along the Thames but misses having his former riding buddy, Elodie the miniature schnauzer, in the basket in front of him.

Dunno, might have nipped the front couple but seriously - pedantry over achievement ?

Maybe... I thought that was the point of this site, to be pedantic about cycling matters. Seems to be from reading the long time posters.

To be fair, i'd be hard pressed to disagree with that...
