Pinarello - endurance worthy?

I recently visited my LBS and fell in love with the looks of a Pinarello  Prince. Unfortunately, they did not have one in stock in my size to test ride, so while I wait for them to remedy that, I was hoping to get others opinions on this brand, and the endurance capability of the Prince.

The LBS told me that the Prince was a slightly more endurance aimed version of the Dogma F10. For my riding, I will need something comfy enough to get me around on weekends and comfortably pull off 50-100 miles. I am looking for an "in between" bike such as the Prince as i felt the endurance only bikes (such as the Roubaix or Domane) felt dead and the full on race bikes (Dogma, Tarmac) are to harsh / agressive.

Can anyone who owns a Prince confirm or deny how comfortable they are for longer rides in terms of geometry and road feedback?

Which brings me to my next question. Pinarello is the first bike I have tried to research where I could find little to no trust worthy information at all. Even Pinarello's website is severly lacking anything helpful. It looks like most sites that pop up all have the same phrases curated by Pinarello and almost as if Pinarello is "shadow banning" any legitimate reviews. No bike is perfect, but it would appear as if Pinarello is paying someone to give it that image. I know they rely on selling bikes at a premium price for the shiny paint and curvy frames, but dang... no user reviews found online?

So, canyone who owns any model Pinarello, do you mind giving me your feedback on your bike? Or, am I to believe they are all perfect except for the 50% that ship with cracks in the frames in which GITA won't warranty. (according to the only information I can find online)

Tl;Dr - Please help, give me your opinions on the Pinarello Prince.

I am an owner of an F8 and recently an F10. I went to buy the Gan but like you one was not available. Instead I took away an F8 for the weekend to try with no intention of buying and well you guessed it I really liked it. 

I did not find it hard at all, quite the opposite I found the ride smoother than my current much cheaper road bike. The gear changing is smooth, but I have Di2, and the handling is very precise. No bike is perfect but I suspect the reason you may find few posts is that I suspect their customers are not the ones who frequent forums or post online reviews. 

You don't often see a Pinarello, where as many other bikes are quite common. I love my Pinarello, that said I have just purchased the Orbea Ebike which handles just as well but there is somethimng about my Pinarello which I cant quite explain in words.

Thank you! Invaluable information... in fact, this thread and your answer pushed me over the edge. I pulled the trigger on a 2019 Prince (LBS gave me a slight discount by getting the 2019 off their floor over the 2020). Looking forward to receiving it soon.

For me, it was between the Prince and BMC, both felt amazing. I went for the Prince because of just how rare they are on the bike path, and well, to be honest side by side I liked the colors better on the Di2 model. I think it's pretty cool that Pinarello lets you select  your color and groupset rather than being tied in to a color based on groupset.

Anyway, just wanted to  thank you for sharing your experience with me. I greatly appreciate all the answers on this thread.

Another 'not an owner' but rented one a few weeks ago in Mallorca too.

I had the GAN S and found it a really nice and comfortable bike and did some decent 80 mile rides through the mountains.

My normal ride is a Trek Domane 5.2 with the isospeed decoupler and I did not really notice any difference in comfort between the Domane and the GAN S but you have to take into account the type of roads you generally cycle on.

My home roads are shocking (as i suspect are most of the UK roads) so to compare the Domane on my home roads against the GAN on the supersmooth tarmac in the sunshine in Mallorca is not a good comparision.

Certainly in the Midlands there are not many LBS that stock Pinarrello so getting one for a test ride for me could prove difficult but would be interested in seeing how it did ride on our crap roads. 

I do like the look of the Pinarello Prince and have not seen one on the roads yet but maybe becasue anyone that buys a Pinarello goes for the Dogma but they are out of my price range.

Not an owner, but I rented a Gan for a week in Majorca... I was very impressed with it.  Comfortable for long hot days and good handling.  It had some indifferent wheels and tyres on, and I'm sure could be improved a lot with some upgrades.

The tour company had a lot of Pinarello bikes, which seemed to stand up well to the rigours of rental use.

I'd certainly be happy to own one based on my experience, though they always seem poor value for money vs the competition... but they are now a 'luxury' brand.
