RIDE IT is a series of non-competitive cycle events taking place across the country and aimed at riders of all abilities. At every ride you’ll find a choice of fully waymarked routes, well stocked feed stations sponsored by High 5 Sports Nutrition, mechanical and sweeper van support if things go wrong, electronic chip timing to record your ride and a finishers medal waiting for you at the end.
Please note that entry does not include free parking, this is £6 in advance, or £7 on the dayday, paid to National Trust. National Trust Members can park for free with badges displayed.
Parking can be prebooked here at a reduced rate
Now into its fifth consecutive year, we return to the stunning Osterley Park. Surrounded by gardens, park and farmland, Osterley is one of the last surviving country estates in London. Now a National Trust property, with excellent transport links to London and elsewhere, we think it’ll serve as a fantastic venue for a sportive.
The route is somewhat deceiving; once we’ve left the estate we’re soon out into the countryside and leaving the city behind.
This early fixture on the RIDE IT calendar will be a great opportunity to get back on the bike after winter and your new year off to a flying start.
Well, yeah, but they had to get rid of the Royal family first!
