Tirreno-Adriatico

Orica, Sky and Movistar all with pretty disappointing TTT's.  Good job I had two each from EQS and BMC.

Who wants to call tomorrow's stage?

My error on Cancellara.

And in terms of saying how doing you get it wrong, its not that I didnt know or anything like that. But you'd be surprised how easy it is to miss typing in a number in the spreadsheet when you have all the others to type in too. I obvs thought id put it in in but hadnt.

shame if you had Tom Leezer!

Fair LottoNL-Jumbo asks commissaires to correct wrong fifth place for Leezer

In the spirit of fair play, Team LottoNL-Jumbo called Tirreno-Adriatico race organiser RCS Sport to report that it incorrectly clocked Tom Leezer in the final time trial stage today. It has placed him as fifth, but his time was incorrectly fast.

Sports Director Jan Boven timed a ride much slower than the time RCS Sport reported for the stage. Fabian Cancellara (Trek - Segafredo) won the time trial in San Benedetto del Tronto and Greg Van Avermaet (BMC Racing Team) retained the overall lead.

“I followed Tom during his time trial and I measured a time that was 20 seconds slower than Maarten Tjallingii’s,” sports director Jan Boven said. “Because we want the sport to be as fair as possible, we called the jury to say that the result was incorrect.”

This is a fabulous competition and I really appreciate that people put in a lot of time to organise it.

BUT.........................CANCELLARA won the Time Trial today.

How the hell do you get that wrong?

Anybody else read the Cycnews report yesterday where Cancy said he wouldn't be going for a TT result today because he has a cold?

Yes thats why I left him out.

In then end I only lost 6 points on the team I would have had, as went with a Bodnar/Cummings combo whereas when I was going to have him in would have been Fabian + a 3.0 rider

Cancellara plus it appears Leezer has been left out, shifting everyone below him up one position.

Who have people gone for in today's ITT?

I've gone for GVA, Jungels, Cummings, Kwiatkowski, Cancellara, Pinot, Stybar and Conti.

Twelve left -- I need to transfer at least four to Paris-Nice.

Thought I would have lots with 9 left, but it sounds like some have a few more.

I still have 14 transfers to use 1

At least I have a good chance of winning 2 stages and we can't have a breakaway win on the ITT :).

Bummer 2

Tomorrows stage cancelled due to snow.

I'd been saving all my transfers for a final flourish 2

Missed the transfer deadline. And I was number 1, so annoying.

Yes - looks like the scores for Tirreno Adriatico haven't been added to the purist & standard league tables although my Dashboard score has been updated.

Have the league tables been updated ?

I'm getting a different points total & position on the dashboard than in the full table.kiss

Stupidly overlooked Trek, but had two from Tinkoff and of course BMC

Movistar let me down.

Also had De Marchi - he'll likely go tonight

Surprisingly good ride from FDJ.

A little bummed I had Oss, and chose to swap him out for De Marchi to save points for next transfer. Love the TTTs though. Too bad about PN today.

Had 2 BMC, EQS, Tinkoff and Trek guys on standard team, so not too bad.

Purist was all over the map.
