Exercise in old age prevents the immune system from declining

Kudos to these 80+year olds doing 100/200km Audax events. I hope I can be that fit when I reach that age.

That pisses me off a bit when asked to help yet denied the offer of assistance having accepted the proposal.
I still believe that slow gentle excerise with friends whom are of.... ) fatties, puffed out after 5metre run, umm that type.. ) is useful. With a bike as per example, nowadays there are marvelous bikes available on the used market and wonderful brand spankers that are cheap, durable and balanced. They're fun to ride and using such with covering minutes rather than kms could improve someones understanding of how to enjoy such.
Being a smoker, collapsing a lung through strenuous effort to grasp oxygen wouldn't be of high priority yet budgeting a time schedule to include such simple activity such as cycling might be foud useful to improve core muscular action that assists balance and tend towards a greater want of breathing. A good cheap road bike here with an immediate tyre change to cope with extra loads such as weight and not so good agility ability costs 7 packs of fags. Hey, 10 less per day; a month and a half later a bike's afforded.
I like this video.
