Australian brand Promount Billet (PMB) is offering billet aluminium mounts for Garmin Edge computers and GoPro cameras.
We’ve shown you loads of alternative Garmin mounts over the past couple of years, but we’ve not featured PMB options before.
“All of PMB’s mounts start as a solid piece of aluminium, they are then precision CNC machined into the finished shape,” says the manufacturer. “It is through this manufacturing process the mounts get their strength.”

This is the PMB Enduro Garmin Mount that replaces your headset top cap. It weighs just 11g, and bear in mind that you’ll be ditching your original top cap too, so the net gain is virtually nothing. The bit the computer pushes into is a machined acetal insert.
It’ll take a Garmin Edge 500, 510, 800 or 810, as well as a Forerunner with a Garmin quick release kit. It’s priced at AU$39.95 (about £22 at today’s exchange rate).

The only real negative we can see is that it might position your computer too far back on the bike. If that’s an issue, PMB do a Stem Mount (AU$44.95, about £25).

This one is designed to fit a bike with a stem length greater than 80mm and angle of 6° or less.

There’s also an out-front Aero Mount (above and main pic, AU$54.95, about £30) that’ll fit any bike with a 31.8mm-diameter handlebar.
If you’re after a GoPro mount, PMB offer handlebar, out-front, under-seat and frame options ranging in price from AU$39.95 to AU$44.95 (about £22 to £25). These all suit the GoPro Hero, Hero2, Hero3 and Hero3+ cameras.
PMB offer a lifetime replacement warranty on all aluminium parts covering manufacturing and material defects, and charge a flat rate of AU$20 (about £11) for worldwide postage.
