Julian David Molina Facebook Video stillVideo: One-legged teen from Colombia shows off BMX skills
Here’s a BMX video that caught our attention – Julián David Molina, a one-legged teenager from Colombia, showing what is possible on a bike with application and perseverance.
The video was posted to his Facebook page last week, and we’re assuming that the catalogue of spills early on in the clip is designed to highlight exactly those qualities.
Molina’s exploits have gained him a big following worldwide – he has nearly 10,000 fans on Facebook, among them, Danny MacAskill – and last year he was the subject of a 15-minute documentary in Spanish, posted to Vimeo, under the title Este cuerpo nunca se rinde – which translates as This body never surrenders.

The appreciation he has earned for his skills also saw US brand Premium donate a bike to him last year.

That is pretty badass, back flips and all sorts, good on the kid
BMX racing is really big in Colombia and Venezuela and I know several riders from both countries. I didn't know freestyle riding was big there though.
Chapeau to this dude for having the guts to ride like this with only one leg and he rides brakeless too! Be good to get him in on the Red Bull stunt demonstration tours.
