Video - Promo released for June's 2nd edition of Friends Life Women's Tour

Five-day stage race is back - route to be confirmed in January and February

One of the UK’s cycling highlights in 2014 was the inaugural edition of the Friends Life Women's Tour – and ahead of the return of the race in June this year, organisers SweetSpot have released a promo video looking back at last year’s event.

Won by Rabobank-Liv’s Marianne Vos, the five-day race was screened on ITV4, and the video features the channel’s Ned Boulting, as well as footage of some of the action.

This year’s race will take place from Wednesday 17 to Sunday 21 June, with route announcements made during January and February.
