Register now for L'Etape London by Le Tour de France - and ride roads of last year's Stage 3

ASO and sportive organisers Human Race have launched a new event, L’Etape London by Le Tour de France, following much of the route of Stage 3 of last year’s Grand Depart of cycling’s biggest race.

It’s the second collaboration between the businesses, following May’s sportive, the Tour de Yorkshire Ride which coincides with the inaugural edition of that event.

The latest event takes place on Sunday 27 September with route options of 42, 92 and 117 miles available at respective costs of £40, £42 and £46.

It could be perfect for anyone who missed out on a Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 place, with that event heavily oversubscribed.

Places will go on sale a fortnight today, Monday 30 March, and are expected to sell out quickly. To find out more information and to pre-register, head over to the event website.

Five-time Tour de France winner Bernard Hinault said: “ I was sure that the fantastic popular enthusiasm which accompanied the Tour de France 2014 peloton would not vanish.

“It's a chance for the fans to challenge themselves on a route strongly inspired by the Tour de France 2014 stage 3.

“All those wanting to experience again the enthusiasm aroused by the Tour de France in last July will have to be present on L'Etape London by Le Tour de France.”
