Witness appeal after cyclist killed in Surrey multi-vehicle crash

Fatal crash on Thursday morning also involved van, car and tanker

Police in Surrey have appealed for witnesses to an incident on Thursday morning involving multiple vehicles that left a cyclist dead.

The victim was a woman aged in her 50s who was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident at Molesey Road in Walton-on-Thames, close to the junction of Rydens Road.

The fatal crash happened at approximately 6.40am on Thursday morning, and also involved a van, a car, and a tanker.

Surrey police said that the driver of the van was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting, South London, with injuries that were believed to be serious.

They have launched an appeal and anyone who has information is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference number P15136173.
