Team road.cc 'Turkey Burner' Rideout

Come for a Christmas ride with road.cc

The Rideout series has had a bit of a break for the winter months but we thought we'd chuck in a little impromptu event for the week after Christmas, the road.cc 'Turkey Burner' on Tuesday 29th December.

The perfect excuse to escape the in-laws and test that new kit you received from Santa.

The plan?

Well, we thought we'd head off at 11am for a few miles at a relaxed pace around Bath on some of our favourite 'kit testing routes', then chuck in a cake stop or something before returning to road.cc HQ where we'll scour the office to see what Christmas schwag we can give away.

Plenty of the road.cc staff and club members will be on hand so we're going to be able to run at least a couple of groups depending on ability and average speed so whatever you ride and however you ride it don't be shy, get your name down.

If that sounds good to you, click here to book your free place and we'll see you on the day.

Don't forget we've still got our January Swindon and February Chichester rideouts to come early in 2016 so if you can't make the Turkey Burner click the links and enter those instead.

This is just one of the events we’re planning for team road.cc members, so if you fancy joining the club – it’s £14.95 a year, for which you’ll receive socks and stickers worth £10.99, £20 off a road.cc classic argyle jersey and 10% off everything in the road.cc shop, plus you'll get a membership card entitling you to discounts at various cafes and shops throughout the country – have a look here

With 20 years of road cycling and over 150,000 miles in his legs it's safe to say Stu is happiest when on the bike whatever the weather. Since writing his first review for road.cc back in 2009 he has also had a career in engineering including 3D-CAD design and product development, so has a real passion for all of the latest technology coming through in the industry but is also a sucker for a classic steel frame, skinny tyres, rim brakes and a damn good paintjob.
His fascination with gravel bikes is getting out of control too!
