150-mile charity ride around all of London’s football clubs

Four cyclists complete ride to raise money for LCC and domestic violence charity

Four intrepid cyclists recently completed Kick Ball Pedal Bike, an epic 150-mile charity cycle ride to all 22 football stadiums in London.

London Cycling Campaign member Tom Moulton came up with the idea of riding to all 22 football grounds – from the Blue Square to the Premier League – inside the M25 to raise money for the LCC and the Southall Black Sisters, which works with victims of domestic abuse.

Tom said, “With the World Cup upon us it seemed like a good idea, and these are small charities that do very important work and deserve our support.”

Twenty or so riders started at White Hart Lane, Tottenham, at 6am. Rider and LCC staff member Rosie Tharp said, "There were some super-sexy road bikes but equally ones that had seen better days and one fella even did it on a mountain bike."

A total of 29 people took part over the course of the day, with just four people finishing the ride.
