Relive your 2016 on Strava - with a nifty video

Social network hopes video will not only let you reflect on cycling year just gone, but will also help get you motivated for 2017

It's that day when we not only wonder what the next 12 months will bring, but also  look back on what happened over the past year. And for all road.cc readers, we imagine a big part of that includes thinking back on your cycling in 2016.

Well, if you're a Strava user, you're in luck. The ride and run sharing social network is letting you create your very own video based on all the activities you've uploaded this year. Here's a teaser.

Strava hopes that by making your video, you'll not only have fun reviewing the year just gone, but also get extra motivated to make 2017 an even better one on the bike.

Feel free to share links to your own personalised films in the comments below.

The vast amount of data Strava has on each user should provide an exhaustive and interesting array of stats.

I don't want to see cool wizzy cgi renderings. There's Disney for that. I want to see the numbers!

Sadly this lame attempt from Strava was a pathetic pile of shit.

Clever graphics but most of the data is plain wrong! No altitude gained is a big omission. Back to the drawing board fellas...

Did they drop the amount climbed total & biggest too, it was underwhelming this year imo. & that's not just a reflection on my cycling year 1

I couldn't get it to work at all; just stuck in a login loop in 3 different browsers!
