I have the 2014/15 version of this bike and love it. it's currently say behing my desk with Zipp 30 Course wheels, Panaracer Gravel SK tyres (tubeless set up) and the Uletgra equivelant levers being the only upgrades. I do most my miles on this bike even at the weekends and love it.

In the eye of the beholder but I like the colours, except perhaps on the rims.  Another very personal thing is geometry:  I actually like bikes that are a bit more work to keep on track but that reward the rider with greater agility.  I was on the fence for a very long time between a cross bike and a 'proper' gravel bike.  Went for the gravel bike but while my brand and model is reasonably agile (not as much as I'd ideally like), some others I've ridden almost feel like if you're riding on rails.  Pity about the rims not being tubeless ready but at this price point one can't complain.

Just about to hit purchase on one of these through cycle to work scheme. Almost seems to be a good all rounder to me for this price and could even be used for some triathlon/duathlons at some point? It would be my first "road" bike so looking for some versatility. Interesting to see what you've said about the rims not being tubeless ready. I emailed Cube to ask and they said yes so might have to suck it and see with a different slicker tyre.
