Cervo Rosso are from Switzerland and they make a whole wardrobe of both cycling performance wear and urban clothing. Their Retro Cotton cap could probably flit quite gaily between the two.
The Retro Cotton Cap is your basic standard issue cycle cap, 100% cotton, elasticated rear, peak, a design that may or may not tickle your aesthetic peccadilloes.
Like most cycle caps, it comes in just the one size, and compared to others it's a little on the small side. Not that it's a tight fit round round the brim, on the contrary, but it sits higher on the skull than most others. The cut of the cap isn't very deep, the rear not reaching as far down the back as normal, making it feel odd under a helmet and a little perchy and insecure if worn on its own.
It's a nice looking cap though. Cervo Rosso means Red Deer in Italian, and there it is, a deer's head in a crest on the cap.
An "Italian Race Stripe" runs over the top of the cap in the familiar green-white-red tricolore pattern, but not if you're looking from the front as pedants will point out, where the stripes run red-white-green which is no flag that they know.
From the rear it's the correct orientation, maybe because you'll be in front of everyone and the last thing they see as you supplesse into the distance is where your national allegiances lie. Yeah, that. Or it's designed to be worn peak backwards, all trendy like. Or it doesn't need overthinking and it's just three colours used to evoke a feeling and a passion.
The Cervo Rosso Retro Cap is your standard issue cycling cap so there's not a lot to say; it's cotton and the design is quite stylish which might trigger a massive desire to have it, or not.
The fact that for a One Size garment it isn't as deep as other caps and will perch high on larger heads might bother some, as might the Italian Tricolore orientation, if you're that sort.
Verdict
One size doesn't really fit all, with a backwards flag, but apart from that we like it.

Make and model: Cervo Rosso Retro Cotton Cap
Tell us what the product is for, and who it's aimed at. What do the manufacturers say about it? How does that compare to your own feelings about it?
Born and bred in Switzerland, Cervo Rosso say they capture the bygone era of European cycling by combining the beautiful heritage of the sport with the most technically advanced fabrics and styling available. The end result being performance cycling wear at it's very best.
Hmmm, that all sounds familiar marketing guff. Whatever, it's a cycling cap, you either get cycling caps or you don't and I happen to be a sucker for a cycling cap. This is a good looker, but compared to others it balances awkwardly atop the head. A cycling kippah if you will.

As a cotton cycling cap it did all it needed to, keep the sun and the rain and the sweat out of the eyes and looked smart doing it, but it sat too high on this head.
