Hi Sriracha,

Miles from Wholegrain Cycles here (creators of JACK). Klickfix is a great solution techncially, but with JACK we've tried to design something that isn't so complicated and potetnial failure points. But we're all for cross compatibility!

Regarding lights, depending on your load and handlebars, you may not have your lights obstructed, however, as Patrick has said, we're developing a light mount that doesn't require tools to fit. Hoping to get it out by summer. Bare with us. Smile

I'd like to see a KlickFix compatible version, so I could swap my handlebar bag out for a rack option. In fact, with a little imagination, the rack could be adapted to carry the handlebar bag directly, the benefit being that by carrying the bag lower it would open up the handlebar for lights, which currently would be obscured by the bag.

I’ve heard back from JACK, and there is no planned adapter for a 26mm bar at the moment but they will look into the option - but no guarantees.

Regarding the front light issue, I think it is fair to say that they might have a solution in the pipeline - so we’ll have to wait and see there.

Yes, it would block fork-crown mounted lights in most cases. In which case you'd have to consider options to either move the light to the side of the forks or run it on the handlebar (I used the latter). This would be the same if you using large handlebar bags to carry this stuff as well.
As for 26mm bars, that specific shim is not provided in the pack, but JACK may well be able to update us on that.

A question: It has fittings for 31.8mm and 25.4mm bars, what about 26.0mm? And a comment: It looks as if it won't work with headlights fitted to the fork crown (unless your frame is enormous or bars are very high).
