Evans Cycles is one of the largest British cycling retailers. They have a large online store as well as one of the biggest chains of bricks and mortar cycling shops.

The original shop was founded in central London by cyclist, Frederick W Evans, and it is suggested that he won an award from the Cyclists' Touring Club for the invention of a device known as the quick release and reversible rear wheel device in 1925. He died in a road accident in 1944 and the business has had several owners since.

Evans have some of their own brands including Hoy Bikes and Pinnacle and they also have exclusive retail arrangements in the UK with Jamis, Fuji and BMC.
