Beeston CC SPortive 2014 - 29th June 2014
Want to ride the best routes the Peak has to offer with epic scenery, cheery roadside support and delicious fresh food by our own chef?
Building on the success of previous years, all our Sportive routes for 2014 leave Beeston and very quickly take you out into quiet countryside.
Three diverse distances, 47miles, 75 miles, 111 miles. Full support, incredible routes, some offering the biggest challenges the Peak can offer from Beeston. Enjoy the finest cycling in the Peak District.
The short route is centred around the Ambergate area and provides a taste of what the Peak has to offer. The mid and long distance routes share the shorter route before exploring more of the Peak's diversity.
All routes are hilly in keeping with the areas topography.
Benefitting from the use of chip timings each rider will be able to set off once their chip has been issued. Therefore registration times are proposed for between: 7.30-9am.

I tried to make a thread announcing a league code for Velogames, but it seems to have been banished to the aether. The code is 620099424
Speed has nothing to do with it...
There are two objections to that, one is that whilst you can say that "no one should be bothered by it for a few seconds as I pass" more and more...
I agree! I'd keep the ban and remove powermeters as well, personally, though I'd keep radios for safety reasons.
not always if the card processing system glitches or the authentication keys arent accepted for whatever reason, or the system thinks its a fraud...
