Evans Cycles Scotland Callander Sportive
Set in the heart of the Trossachs, this ride is breath-taking from start to finish. An abundance of fine Scottish scenery makes this a beautiful route passing numerous Lochs and taking in some great climbs along the way. The last challenge will be the classic Dukes Pass from the Aberfoyle side, the harder way, which will reward you with some spectacular views over to Ben Venue and Ben Ledi. You can then enjoy a great descent and blast along the shores of Loch Venachar to finish your ride. This event has sold out very quickly in the previous two years, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

I guess it depends what you value? Better cycling for the most of us and cycling as sport (especially high- level) are linked - but not terribly...

100% agree with you but just to be pedantic it's easy if you spin in a small gear: obviously you would have a big cog on the back but the gear...
