Is this ride for me?
Yes, this ride is aimed at people of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re an experienced biker, cycle just occasionally or would like to start cycling more, this is the perfect ride for you. You don’t have to wear lycra and go cycling every weekend: the whole idea behind the Classic Challenge is that anyone and everyone can take part. We’ve had some amazing riders who only learned to cycle just months before the event… if they can do it, you can do it too!
Why should I take part?
To challenge yourself and experience the amazing atmosphere with thousands of great people, cycling between Scotland’s two largest cities! It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a fun and active day out with family, friends or colleagues. If you’d like to, this is a great event to fundraise for a cause you care about.
What can I expect?
An early kick off to the morning as you leave Glasgow Green and follow a well signed and closed road route, while enjoying the beautiful Scottish views. You can take breaks at our rest stops, roughly every ten miles, with refreshments and music. End the ride with hundreds of spectators cheering as you cross the finish line and receive your well-deserved medal.
