The ‘Tour De Brum’ is for EVERYONE - it doesn’t matter if it’s your first time on a bike or you’re a seasoned pro - the main aim is to raise vital funds that are needed to make a real difference to all those who use the hospital's services, especially at this time with the NHS stretched to breaking point.
Madhare has partnered with Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity to bring you a virtual charity cycling challenge. You can chose your own distance to complete - anything from 20 - 300km - starting and finishing at the Birmingham Children's Hospital and taking in over 30 sights across including Aston Villa, Birmingham City, WBA and Wolverhampton football grounds, Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Alexander Stadium, Cadbury’s World, the NEC, the Black Country Museum, Dudley Zoo and beyond - see how many you can visit across the month.
For more than a year, the NHS has been at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 and the dedicated colleagues at Birmingham Children’s Hospital have been going above and beyond the call of duty to care for and protect some of the most vulnerable members of society.
It’s been an unprecedented time, and the cancellation of events has had an impact fundraising income. However, the kindness, generosity and hard work of people undertaking this challenge means that Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity will be able to continue to support its children, families and the amazing work of its NHS heroes at this critical time, and in the future.
