Ride UK Manchester to London 24 hours

Fully supported, 24 hours is all riders have, through day and night to
complete this epic challenge.
A great test of endurance cycling, alongside 500 fellow riders
lead by pace cyclists with the route broken down into stages of 40-45 miles. The
RIDEUK 24 team will fully support you – from pace cyclists, and supporting riders,
medics, mechanics, energy snack and hot meal stops, full vehicle support and
access to baggage. All riders have to concentrate on, is making that finish line before
the time is up.
If you're not happy with the bike, "bring it back to me".

IIRC eburtthebike from this parish has done just that, with success. (Presumably they stood for various things - Green Party I think?)
