Stafford GP 2013
Friday night gets the Staffordshire festival of cycling underway with an evening of cycle racing in the centre of Stafford that culminates in a professional race, the Stafford GP. As well as coming to watch the racing there will be plenty of chance to enjoy local hospitality, browse some great cycling brands, and if you’re participating in the Saturday’s sportives, the chance to sign in, grab your number a day early and with that a few minutes extra lie in on Saturday!
Stafford Goes Pedalling Sportive
Our sportives on the 10th of August will be known as the Staffordshire Goes Pedalling Sportive and we’d welcome you to the event and to the county.
The shorter 35 mile sportive is designed for those who are newer to the sport or just want a shorter and gentler ride, there are just a couple of short sections of main road in a route that’s otherwise relatively flat and designed for your enjoyment. The longer 70mile sportive is aimed at those who want something a little longer and along the way there are a a few more hills to test you.
Overall though, both routes are intended to show you some of our favourite roads in the county and to leave you champing at the bit for your next ride on these beautiful roads.
