Rapha announce Women's 100 event for July 20

March 8 marks Women's day, and to celebrate Rapha have announced their second Women's 100 event...

Today is International Women’s Day, and to celebrate, Rapha have announced the second edition of their Rapha Women’s 100, which will take place on July 20.

The Women’s 100 is a worldwide event that will take place wherever there are able and willing female cyclists. The aim of the game is for women to get on their bikes, in groups or on their own, and ride 100km.

Rapha themselves are organising a number of events across the country, but if you wish to host your own ride or fancy going solo, you can make it official by registering online, here.

Every participant who takes part in an official ride will receive a commemorative woven badge, pictured.

Last year’s event saw 4,000 women take part and Rapha are aiming to double that number this year.

In an attempt to motivate more riders to join in, Rapha will feature training advice and stories on their website in the run up to the event. You can also join the challenge on cycling ride analysis app Strava to track your training progress.

So, keep an eye on the Women's 100 website and their Facebook page for information about official Women’s 100 rides as well as tips and blogs posts.
