Café du Cycliste clothing comp: we have a winner!

who got their hands on a selection of great kit from the Cote d'Azur?...

That's all your four-day weeks over then: back to the drudgery of proper full-time work and looking forward to your summer hols. Still, we can lighten the load for one lucky road.cc reader. Because we've got £400 of Cafe du Cycliste gear to give away, and that's what we're going to do. Right now.

Over 3,000 of you stuck your name in the virtual internet hat for a chance to walk away with the goods, but only one of you can win. And we're delighted to announce that the winner is...

[over-long pause]

Mike Bell!

Well done Mike, we'll be in contact to sort you out. And look out for more great comps coming to road.cc soon!

Happy Easter everyone! Instead of fobbing you off with a tawdry foil-covered comestible we thought we'd give you the chance to win over four hundred quid's worth of great cycling clobber instead. Don't say we're not givers.

If you haven't crossed paths with Café du Cycliste yet they're based on the Cote d'Azur down in the south of France and have built up a reputation for making some very high quality bike kit. And we've got a bunch of it to give to one lucky reader.

What's up for grabs? For a start there's a Marie-Josette jersey, which scored some high praise when it was tested by us last year. "a brilliantly versatile, waterproof, windproof, breathable jersey", we said. Just the ticket for fast riding in UK conditions. Assuming UK conditions mean not that warm, and also wet.

You can pair that up with a pair of highly-rated-by-us Josephine bib shorts, and when the sun shines you can swap the waterproof top for a Lucienne jersey: "A good looking jersey that combines off the bike style with on the bike poise and practicality", we said in our review. All good stuff, then. Add to that a cycling cap and some dotted socks and you've got a prize bundle worth £408. Nice.

If you fancy your name in the hat, simply enter your name and email address in the box below. It's UK residents only for this one. The compo will run until the end of the month, and we'll pick one lucky winner at random for the gear. Good luck!
