Hellingen App 03.jpgAs Classics season starts, new app features Belgium's toughest climbs
Classics season gets under way today in Belgium with the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, and as the cycling world's attention turns to Belgium, a new smartphone app has been launched that features the climbs that will figure in some of the sport's biggest races in the coming weeks.
The Hellingen App is based on Simon Warren's book of the same name and follows his recently launched 100 Climbs app which focuses on the top ascents in the UK.
It uses GPS and syncs with Strava, handy if you're heading across the Channel to the land of beer, frites and Eddy Merckx to tackle the cobbles yourself.
Priced at £3.99, you can download it from iTunes and Google Play.
